Here's proof - God answers prayer! After Big Daddy Weave issued a nationwide call to prayer on behalf of the band's bassist Jason Weaver, Jason as seen a remarkable improvement after suffering a debilitating infection that necessitated amputation of his feet.

As of Wednesday the 15th, the band had much good news to share. Jason's kidney numbers saw their biggest drop since monitoring began which indicates the infection that necessitated the amputation of his feet is decreasing. That will have been two consecutive days of decline for this important health indicator. Additionally, his white blood cell count is also down, which means his body is no longer fighting infection!
As of Monday the 13th, Jason was able to get out of bed and push himself in a wheelchair. The physical therapist also showed Jason a few exercises to start building back his muscle. While we don’t want to get too graphic, suffice to say the areas of amputation at the base of his legs are healing nicely and showing great improvement.
It was also refreshing and a relief to see Jason’s lighthearted side resurface. Their Facebook page recounts a humorous story…
Jason loves to joke with people. I now have to bite my cheeks when nurses ask him how tall he is. His response, "Well, I was 5'11, but now I'm not so sure". So they move on to the next question.
Time and time again, the band thanks YOU on their social media for your continued prayers! They are being answered! For the time being, prayer requests center on the kidney numbers to continue to go down, as well as Jason’s transition to prosthesis for his feet.
